Dr. Robert H. Pierson of 305 E. Main St., longtime Crawfordsville physician, died suddenly Monday night in the home of a son, Dr. Allen Pierson, in Colorado. Dr. Pierson and his wife had been visiting their son on a vacation trip. He was now semi-retired but had practiced medicine in Crawfordsville the past 24 years. He was a native of Spencer who came to this community in 1946. Dr. Pierson served last year as general chairman of the city United Fund drive. The body is being returned to Crawfordsville and funeral arrangements are incomplete at Power Funeral Home here. - kbz
